Hawthorne is adding Email Notices to provide you with another convenient way to stay in control of your finances. Our new Email service allows you to get the latest information on your accounts via email.


With your checking or money market account and free online banking, you’ll get a variety of notices to help you stay informed about the activity on your account.

You can choose to be notified on the follow account activity:

  • A deposit is made to your account, such as your paycheck
  • Your account balance drops below an amount you specify, which can help you avoid overdrafts
  • When your account exceeds a specific balance that you specify
  • An overdraft occurs on your account
  • A check clears within a number range you specify (like your rent or mortgage payment)
  • Your end-of-day account balance at a frequency you determine (daily if you wish!)
  • Your certificate is about to mature

To get Email Notices, all you need is a Hawthorne Checking or Money Market Account and free Online Banking. To set up your Email Notices, simply login to Online Banking, click “Account Access”, and then select “Email Alerts” from the submenu.  Click here for step by step enrollment instructions.
