The United Way Art students at Naperville Central High School painted Hawthorne Credit Union’s bears this year. Using the theme of outer space to coordinate with the credit union’s Planet M Youth Savings club for kids 12 and under, the artists came up with two concepts. Ursa Major features constellations, the Milky Way and star formations in its design and will be on display in downtown Naperville this summer. Ursa Minor is whimsically dressed in an astronaut’s space suit. Ursa Minor will be displayed in the lobby of the credit union’s Naperville branch. Hawthorne has contributed to the United Way of Naperville for more than ten years. |
