Surcharge Free Cash

  • Surcharges are fees that are imposed on you by the owner of the ATM.  

  • You can avoid potential machine-owner surcharges by using ATMs in the AllPoint, STARsf and Co-op networks.

  • You can use your Visa Check Card to get cash back when making a purchase by entering your PIN, and pay no surcharge.  However, try to avoid using your PIN at checkout more than 6 times in a month to avoid fees.  When you don't need cash back, sign for your purchase, as a credit transaction using your Visa check card.  Signature transactions are always free.  To learn more about the difference between PIN and free Signature transactions, and the benefit of signing for your purchases, click here.

Types of ATM Transactions

  • You can make cash withdrawals and deposits at designated STAR machines nationwide (subject to holds), transfers of funds and balance inquires.

  • You can make cash withdrawals at CIRRUS and Plus machines.  There is a $1.25 charge for each transaction.

Avoiding Fees

  • With Family Rewards, Step 4 Members avoid all ATM fees. 

  • You can make unlimited free ATM transaction at our offices at 1519 N. Naper Blvd. in Naperville and 267 S. Weber Rd. in Bolingbrook.

  • You can make 6 free PIN based transactions at any AllPoint, STAR or Co-op machine each month.  There after each PIN based transaction is $1.  All Cirrus and Plus transactions are $1.25 each.

  • You can make unlimited signature transactions at merchants who accept Visa.  For details, click here.
     

Worldwide Access

  • Your VISA Check Card is both an ATM card and a debit card.  ATM and other PIN based transactions are available worldwide, through the STAR, Co-op, Cirrus and Plus  networks.  Click here to locate a AllPoint, STAR or Co-op machine near you.
