Website Scam:
This 'pop-up'website (http://creditchecknow2011.com) is pretending to be affiliated with Hawthorne Credit Union. Hawthorne Credit Union is NOT affiliated with them in any way. This website will ask you to sign up for a Credit Report, but will ask for your credit card information. These pop-up windows are usually viruses or spyware/maluware that are installed on your computer. Its best practice to keep your Anti Virus software up to date, and regularly clean out your temporary Internet folder.
